How far is the lodge from the airports?
The lodge is strategically located 30 minutes (20 km) from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and 30 minutes from Arusha town center.
Can we see Mount Kilimanjaro from the lodge?
Yes, on clear days, the lodge's colonial verandas offer spectacular views of the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro and the rugged slopes of Mount Meru.
What activities can we do on the property?
Guests can enjoy horseback riding through the forest, boating or fishing on the lake, guided bird-watching walks (over 200 species), or a swim in the 25-meter pool.
Is the lodge family-friendly?
Very much so. We offer a farm cottage for families, a children’s playground, and supervised activities. Children under 5 staying in their parents' room stay for free.
Does the lodge cater to dietary restrictions?
Yes, our restaurant offers a range of options including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and halal dishes, largely prepared using organic produce from our own gardens.
