Everything You Need to Know
How do I reach the Tukaone camps?
The camps are conveniently located near the Seronera Airstrip. Tukaone Mwaloni is about 13 km away, while the Hembe location is roughly an hour's drive. The camps provide transfers from the airstrip.
Is there Wi-Fi available at the camp?
Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available, but it is typically restricted to the central lounge and dining tent rather than the individual guest tents.
Is the camp safe from wildlife?
While the camp is in the middle of the wilderness with active wildlife, it is staffed 24/7. Guests are advised not to walk alone after dark and are escorted by staff members or Maasai guards.
Can I charge my electronic devices?
Yes. Although the camp is solar-powered, charging stations are available in the main lounge area for cameras, phones, and other small devices.
What is the best time to visit for the migration?
The Central Serengeti location is excellent year-round, but wildlife density is particularly high during the migration periods as herds pass through the Seronera and Turner areas (typically April–June and November–January).
