What is the best time to visit Oliver’s Camp?
While the camp is open for most of the year, the peak season is from June to October. During this time, the Silale Swamps act as a magnet for wildlife, offering some of the best elephant viewing in Africa.
Can I go on a walking safari?
Yes, Oliver’s Camp is famous for its walking safaris. Being located in a specialized zone of the park, it offers some of the best-guided bush walks in the country.
How do I get to the camp?
The most common way is to fly into the Kuro Airstrip, followed by a scenic 45-minute game drive to the camp. Driving from Arusha is possible but takes approximately 4 to 5 hours.
Is there Wi-Fi at the camp?
In keeping with the authentic bush experience, Wi-Fi is generally not provided at Oliver’s Camp to encourage guests to disconnect and immerse themselves in nature.
What is "Little Oliver’s"?
Little Oliver’s is a smaller, even more intimate sister camp located just 1km away. It features only five tents and is ideal for small groups or families seeking total privacy.
