Everything You Need to Know

Is this a permanent lodge?
No, it is a seasonal mobile camp. This allows it to move with the wildlife, ensuring guests are always in the best possible location to see the Great Migration.
How do the showers work?
The camp uses traditional safari bucket showers. You simply notify the staff when you would like a shower, and they will fill the external reservoir with hot water to your preferred temperature.
Is there electricity in the tents?
The tents have solar-powered LED lighting. For charging cameras and phones, guests typically use the central charging station located in the main lounge/mess tent.
Can I see the "Big Five" here?
While Ndutu is world-famous for cheetahs and lions during the calving season, it is also one of the best places to see the migration. Black rhinos are rare in this specific area but can be found in the nearby Ngorongoro Crater.
How far is the camp from the Ndutu Airstrip?
The camp is approximately a 20-minute drive from the Ndutu Airstrip.
