About Tanzania Bush Camp (Ndutu)
Tanzania Bush Camp offers an authentic, mid-range "wild safari" experience. It is a semi-permanent mobile camp that prioritizes location and wildlife proximity over traditional hotel luxury. The camp is famous for its "Bush TV" (a nightly campfire) where guests gather to share stories under the African sky. The mess tent serves as a communal dining area, providing home-cooked meals in a warm, social environment. Because it is a mobile camp, it leaves a minimal footprint on the ecosystem.

Everything You Need to Know
Is the camp fenced?
No, like most mobile camps in the NCA/Serengeti, the camp is unfenced. Wildlife frequently passes through. Maasai warriors provide 24-hour security and escort guests to and from their tents after dark.
How do I get my hot water for the shower?
The camp uses a "bucket shower" system. You simply request hot water from your room attendant, and they will fill the reservoir outside your tent to your desired temperature.
Is there electricity for my CPAP machine or camera?
The camp is solar-powered. While tents have lights, heavy-duty electronics and medical devices should be cleared with management in advance to ensure the solar batteries can handle the load overnight.
Does the camp stay in Ndutu all year?
No, it moves to follow the migration. It is only in Ndutu during the calving season (December–March). From May to November, it is typically located in Central Serengeti (Seronera).
How far is the drive from the Ndutu Airstrip?
It is a short, scenic 15–20 minute drive from the Ndutu Airstrip.
