No, Kubu Kubu is an unfenced property. This allows animals to roam freely through the grounds. For your safety, Maasai guards will escort you to and from your tent after sunset.
Is the pool heated?
The infinity pool is generally not heated; however, given the Serengeti's warm climate, it remains at a refreshing temperature perfect for relaxing after a dusty game drive.
Are children welcome?
Yes, children of all ages are welcome. The interconnected Family Suites are specifically designed to provide security and convenience for families traveling with younger children.
How do I get my laundry done?
Complimentary or paid laundry service is available depending on your booking package. Note that for cultural reasons, undergarments are usually hand-washed by guests (detergent provided).
How far is the lodge from the Great Migration?
During April–June and October–November, the Great Migration often passes directly through the Central Serengeti, frequently making it possible to see thousands of wildebeest from the lodge's terrace.
