Do I need a 4x4 to reach the lodge?
Yes, the final stretch is through thick sand. If you do not have a 4x4, the lodge provides a scheduled transfer service from a secure parking area near Jozini/Coastal Cashews.
When is the best time to see turtles?
Turtle nesting and hatching season runs from November to the end of February. Nightly guided walks are conducted during this time to see Leatherback and Loggerhead turtles.
Is the lodge malaria-free?
The lodge is located in a low-risk malaria area. While risk is minimal, it is recommended to consult a doctor regarding prophylaxis before traveling.
Can I go scuba diving if I’m not certified?
es. The on-site PADI center offers "Discover Scuba" courses for beginners, as well as full certification courses and advanced dives for experienced divers.
