Changa Safari Camp

Changa Safari Camp is a family-owned, intimate luxury tented camp on 4.5 km of private Lake Kariba shoreline within Matusadona National Park. Eight East African-style tented suites — six double/twin and two family — sit under sprawling Mopane woodland facing the vast lake and the Matusadona Mountain backdrop. Each tent features polished concrete floors, floor-to-ceiling gauze windows, private decks with hammocks, outdoor showers, and bathtubs. The central area combines an indoor lounge/library, separate dining room, separate bar (built around an old boat hull), infinity pool, and a private sandy beach with fire pit. Activities are uniquely diverse for a Zimbabwe camp: boat safaris, game drives, guided bush walks along elephant trails, tiger fishing, visits to the dramatic Sanyati Gorge, and sundowner cruises. Meals are served al fresco or communally in the dining room, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
