Do I have to pay national park fees every night?
No. Because the camp sits on a private concession just 3.5 km outside the park boundaries, you only pay TANAPA park fees on days you physically cross into the park for game drives.
Are there seasonal closures?
Yes, the property typically closes down annually for maintenance during the heavy rainy season from March 1 to March 31.
Is it safe to walk around without an escort?
During the day it is fine, but because the private concession is completely unfenced to respect natural migration paths, local Maasai escorts accompany all guests to and from their tents after dark.
Can we go on night game drives here?
Yes. Since the camp operates inside a private Maasai concession, off-road driving, guided walking safaris, and night game drives are legally permitted.
