Murchison Falls Boat Ride (Victoria Nile)

Departing from Paraa, the boat cruise heads upstream toward the falls. As you navigate the gentle currents, the riverbanks reveal an incredible display of wildlife. You will pass massive pods of hippos, Nile crocodiles, and various water birds such as the Goliath Heron and the colorful Malachite Kingfisher. Elephants and buffaloes are frequently seen cooling off at the water's edge. The climax of the journey is the view from the "Boiling Pot," where the water churns with immense force at the foot of the falls. From here, you can feel the spray and hear the thunderous roar of the river.
