Iconic Highlights
Bwabwata National Park: A unique "people's park" where conservation and community coexist, famous for the Horseshoe Bend and excellent predator sightings.
Boat Safaris: Navigating the Chobe or Kwando rivers at sunset offers a front-row seat to bathing elephants and pods of hippos.
Nkasa Rupara National Park: Namibia's largest formal wetland, often described as a "mini-Delta," where large buffalo herds roam.
Living Museums: The Mafwe and Mbunza Living Museums offer deep insights into the traditional hunter-gatherer and fishing cultures of the region.
The Four Corners: The region culminates at the point where four countries—Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, and Zimbabwe—almost meet near Kazungula.

Travel Requirements
Passport: Must be valid for at least 6 months with 2 blank pages.
Visa: Standard Namibia entry rules apply (most Western/SADC nations are visa-exempt for 90 days).
Health: This is a high-risk Malaria area due to the permanent water. Prophylaxis is strongly recommended year-round.
Infrastructure: The Trans-Caprivi Highway is tarred and excellent, but a 4x4 is essential for exploring the national parks (especially Mudumu and Nkasa Rupara).
Cross-Border: If you plan to visit Chobe (Botswana) or Victoria Falls (Zambia/Zimbabwe), ensure you have the necessary multi-entry visas.
