Trip Overview
If you've dreamed of
experiencing Africa's most iconic destinations in a single journey, this is the
safari that delivers. The 8-Day Victoria Falls, Chobe & Okavango Delta
Explorer combines four of Southern Africa's greatest wildlife and natural heritage
destinations into one seamlessly choreographed adventure — a combination of
comfortable lodges and authentic mid-range camping that perfectly balances
comfort with genuine wilderness immersion.
Your journey begins in Zimbabwe
at the spectacular Victoria Falls — declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and
one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. After exploring the falls and
its mist-soaked rainforest, you cross into Botswana and board the Chobe River
for a sunset cruise among hippos, crocodiles, and elephants. From Kasane, the
route heads south through Chobe National Park into Savuti — a legendary
wildlife area famous for dramatic predator encounters, particularly between
lions and elephant — where you camp under the stars. Next comes the Khwai
Concession, a private wildlife area bordering both Moremi and the Okavango,
before a final night in Moremi Game Reserve itself. Throughout, expert
professional guides ensure every moment is maximised. This safari tells the
full story of Southern Africa's wilderness in eight spectacular days.
Day-by-Day Itinerary

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a visa for both Zimbabwe and Botswana?
Yes, this itinerary crosses from Zimbabwe (Victoria Falls) into Botswana (Kasane). Most nationalities can obtain visas on arrival at both borders, but requirements vary. We strongly recommend checking current visa requirements for your nationality well in advance, and carrying multiple passport photos and sufficient USD cash for visa fees.
Is a sleeping bag required?
Yes — sleeping bags are NOT provided on this safari and must be brought by the guest or hired locally in Maun or Victoria Falls. Similarly, bath towels are not included and should be packed. Please check the full exclusions list
What is the difference between the lodge nights and camping nights?
A: Victoria Falls (Bhejane Lodge) and Kasane (Wild View Resort) nights are in comfortable en-suite lodge rooms. Savuti, Khwai, and Moremi are mid-range Sahara-style camping in well-equipped tents with private verandahs and en-suite bathrooms — offering a genuine wilderness experience with surprising comfort.
Is this safari suitable for non-experienced safari travellers?
Absolutely. The professional guide handles all logistics, animal tracking, and camp management. The mix of lodge and camp accommodation provides a great balance for those new to safari camping.
Can I take optional activities at Victoria Falls?
Yes — Victoria Falls offers an extraordinary range of optional activities including helicopter flights over the falls ('Flight of the Angels'), white-water rafting on the Zambezi, bungee jumping, sunset cruises, and game walks — all at additional cost and arranged locally.
How large are the groups on this safari?
Group sizes vary by departure. Contact us for specific departure group sizes — smaller groups generally offer a more personalised experience and greater flexibility in game viewing.
