Travel Requirements
Visa: Standard Tanzania Tourist Visa ($50–$100). E-visas are standard and should be applied for online.
Passport: Minimum 6 months validity from date of entry.
Health: Yellow Fever certificate is required if arriving from an endemic zone. Malaria precautions are essential.
Access: Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) is the main arrival point, located about 45 minutes from Moshi.
Currency: Tanzanian Shilling (TZS) is best for local markets; USD is standard for trekking fees and hotels.
