Trip Overview
Kenya is one of the world's greatest safari destinations, and
this carefully curated 7-day itinerary captures its very best. Beginning in
Nairobi, you are whisked into the golden heartland of the Masai Mara National
Reserve — a place synonymous with lion prides, elephant herds, and the dramatic
spectacle of the Great Migration. Two full days in the Mara ensure you have
ample time to experience the raw beauty of African wildlife at its most
magnificent.
From the Mara, your journey takes you north to the jewel of
the Great Rift Valley: Lake Nakuru National Park. Renowned as a sanctuary for
the critically endangered black rhino, Nakuru also dazzles with flocks of
flamingos turning the lake's shores a living shade of pink, alongside
tree-climbing lions, Rothschild's giraffes, and prolific birdlife.
The next destination, Lake Naivasha, offers a change of pace —
a serene freshwater lake where hippos yawn lazily along the banks and over 350
bird species flit through papyrus reeds. A guided boat ride and a walking
safari on Crescent Island bring you into intimate contact with wildlife in a
uniquely peaceful setting.
The finale of this safari is Amboseli National Park, arguably
Africa's most photogenic destination. Here, massive herds of elephants roam
against the snow-capped silhouette of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak,
creating scenes of timeless, postcard-perfect beauty. Two days in Amboseli give
you unhurried opportunities to witness elephants, lions, cheetahs, and
buffaloes across the open plains.
Throughout the journey, you stay in carefully selected lodges
and camps, enjoy all meals, and travel in a custom 4x4 safari vehicle with a
professional, experienced driver-guide whose deep knowledge of the bush
transforms each game drive into a masterclass in African wildlife.
Day-by-Day Itinerary

Explore the endless golden savannahs in search of the Big Five — lions resting beneath ancient acacia trees, elephants roaming majestically across the plains, graceful cheetahs accelerating across the grasslands, and vast herds of zebra and wildebeest. As the African sun sets in hues of orange and crimson over the Mara, return to camp for a delicious dinner, accompanied by the wild sounds of the African night.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best time to do this 7-day Kenya safari?
This safari runs year-round, but the optimal time depends on your interests. For the Great Wildebeest Migration and river crossings in the Masai Mara, July–October is unbeatable. For the clearest views of Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli, January–February and July–October offer the best visibility. The green season (November–March) provides lush scenery, fewer crowds, and excellent birdwatching at lower rates.
Do I need a visa to enter Kenya?
Most international visitors require a Kenya ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization), which can be applied for online before departure at www.etakenya.go.ke. We strongly recommend applying at least 2 weeks before travel. Costs and requirements vary by nationality — your booking consultant will guide you through the process.
What wildlife can I realistically expect to see?
On this itinerary, you hat wildlife can I have an excellent chance of encountering all of the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino). In the Masai Mara, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and giraffes are regularly sighted. Lake Nakuru is Kenya's best park for rhino sightings. Amboseli consistently delivers extraordinary elephant encounters with Kilimanjaro as a backdrop. Hippos and flamingos are reliably seen at both Nakuru and Naivasha.

We recommend packing lightweight, neutral-coloured clothing (khaki, olive, beige — avoid bright colours and black), a warm fleece or jacket for early morning game drives, a quality sunscreen and insect repellent, a good hat and sunglasses, binoculars, and a camera with a telephoto lens for wildlife photography. Full packing lists will be shared upon booking confirmation.
