Trip Overview

This 10-day elite trekking program offers the most comprehensive approach to conquering Mount Kilimanjaro. Starting in Moshi, the route begins at the Londorossi Gate and traverses the ancient Shira Plateau. By adding extra nights at Shira and the Karanga Valley, the itinerary provides a superior acclimatization profile. Climbers journey through eight distinct climate zones—from tropical rainforests to moon-like alpine deserts—before making the final ascent to Uhuru Peak (5,895m). The expedition concludes with a celebration in Moshi, where trekkers receive their official gold summit certificates.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the Parkview Hotel in Moshi, nestled at the base of the mountain. In the afternoon, you will meet your lead guide for a comprehensive pre-trek briefing to discuss the route, safety protocols, and gear requirements, with the opportunity to rent any needed equipment from our local office. You can spend the evening relaxing on the hotel’s spacious terrace, taking in your first clear views of the peak you are about to conquer.
