It protects both black and white rhinos, harbours the Big Five, and is the only place in Kenya where rescued chimpanzees live in a naturalistic sanctuary. Ol Pejeta was also home to Sudan — the last male northern white rhino — until his death in 2018. The conservancy is a global leader in rhino conservation, anti-poaching technology, and community-based conservation. The distances are well-managed across the 10-day itinerary. Nairobi to Samburu is approximately 4–5 hours. Samburu to Ol Pejeta is approximately 3 hours. Ol Pejeta to Lake Nakuru (via Thomson's Falls) is approximately 3 hours. Lake Nakuru to the Masai Mara is approximately 4–5 hours. The Mara to Lake Naivasha is approximately 3 hours. Lake Naivasha to Amboseli is approximately 4–5 hours. All drives are scenic and enjoyable, with planned stops at viewpoints, restaurants, and attractions along the way. Our 4x4 vehicles are comfortable for long journeys.

The Masai Mara section of this safari (Days 5–6) gives you excellent opportunities to witness the Great Wildebeest Migration if you travel between July and October. This is when over 1.5 million wildebeest and 250,000 zebras cross from the Serengeti into the Mara, with the dramatic Mara River crossings being one of nature's most spectacular events. Outside this season, the Mara is still home to large resident wildebeest herds and exceptional predator activity.

All properties feature ensuite facilities, excellent dining, comfortable beds, swimming pools or communal facilities, and prime locations for wildlife proximity.
